Programs & Services
Child & Youth Support Services
- EHPH can provide in-school training for teachers and boards, providing information and tools to improve teaching methods and provide accommodations and safety planning guides.
- Training is available for camp leaders and/or coaches to make sure that children with epilepsy receive the same opportunities to participate as others. We can also help provide proper safety measures for children. EHPH will also offer scholarship opportunities when available.
- Individual and family counseling is available for families, parents and teens.
- Facilitate the introduction of educational material for schools and boards.
- EHPH will be hosting a series of special events to increase public awareness and public education about childhood epilepsy and the effects it has on learning. Please see our events section for dates and times.
Employment services
- Educational outreach and support to its members, including counseling for job placement and safety-related issues.
- EHPH will provide training for use of transit system for members who need assistance.
Adult Services
- Individual and family counseling and support, including weekly support groups and peer mentoring.
- Employment counseling and safety training.
- Parent matching is available for parents of children with epilepsy.
- EHPH will be hosting a series of special events to increase public awareness and public education about epilepsy and the effects it has on the lives of adults. Participation is welcome, contact us for details.
Volunteer Services
- Volunteer opportunities for community members to help the association with administrative services.
- Volunteer opportunities for the community to join and help with all fundraising events and raise public awareness.
- Leadership and mentoring opportunities for volunteers.
